A Precious Child is here to help!

on June 3, 2011

A Precious Child in a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization located in Broomfield, Colorado with a mission to make a positive impact in the lives of disadvantaged and displaced children by improving their quality of life.

Our purpose is to help children and families struggling to make ends meet improve their circumstances, renew their hope and enhance their futures by providing access to life’s most basic necessities.

Our goals are to support disadvantaged and displaced children and families by utilizing the resources of the community in the form of in-kind donations and partnerships to provide clothing, shoes, coats, diapers, baby essentials, school supplies, sports equipment, and even Christmas gifts to those who struggle. In doing so, A Precious Child’s clients experience new opportunities, enhanced self-esteem, educational support, and the chance at a better life. Our programs are designed around key components necessary to build a foundation for a child’s well-being, namely 1) basic needs, 2) education, 3) extracurricular activities, and 4) community. We link activities together to form a comprehensive set of services and strategies that help families beat the odds and improve their circumstances for the future. We consider the whole person and how our assistance will affect recipients in their daily lives, not just for the moment.

A Precious Child is always in need of new and gently used adult, child and baby clothing, shoes, diapers, baby wipes, and sports equipment. Donations are accepted Monday-Friday 9M-3pm at A Precious Child located at 557 Burbank Street, Unit E. Broomfield, CO 80020. Call us at 303-466-4272 or email contactus@apreciouschild.org and visit our website at www.apreciouschild.org.
